CORE LABS haloRAD

The halo family of tube supports provide flexibility to facilitate
a wide range of x-ray procedures.
Fully counterbalanced, these heavy-duty systems can be easily
positioned at any selected point within their total range of
travel.

The x-ray tube rotates a full 360-degrees about their vertical
and horizontal axis with mechanical indexing at each 90-
degree position (each 15 degrees column detents).
The ergonomic operator control panels provide convenient
selections to allow the tube to be moved in the longitudinal,
transversal, vertical and rotational directions, and allows for
table/wall Bucky centering.

Single handle controls allow for fast and out of the way
positioning. Clean, carefully laid out cable management.
The LCD displays indicate SID to tabletop/wall Bucky in inches
or centimeters (calibrated at installation) and angulation of xray
tube in degrees.

The “Intelligent Firmware” allows for fast and easy access to
calibration and configuration.
Platform mounts are standard, and 10” orthopedic column
extensions are optional.
Isolated on-board 24VAC & 24VDC Power for Collimator etc…
Durable powder coat finish.

  • halo Compact: Designed for extra-low ceiling height installations.  Can be installed on ceiling heights as low as 96” and still maintain 40” SID to table Bucky.  Even lower ceiling height custom models are available.  Ask your sales professional for specifics about to make the halo Compact fit your application.  Often used in surgery applications or in older facilities with lower ceiling heights.
  • halo Extended: Designed for extra-high ceiling height installations.  Can be installed on ceiling heights as high as 144”.  Often used in surgery applications or in older hospitals with higher than average ceiling heights.    Ask your sales professional for specifics about to make the halo Extended fit your application.
  • halo Touchscreen: For those who demand the fastest throughput and more security of collimation by technologists, the halo Touchscreen is ideal.  Featuring touchscreen control with presets for collimation sizes at various SID distances.
  • halo Orthopedic: Custom telescope travel range for demanding orthopedic applications to ensure proper anatomy coverage with minimized risk to patients.  Common uses are lower extremity coverage as low as possible to minimize step-stool heights.    Ask your sales professional for specifics about to make the halo Orthopedic fit your application.
  • halo Everywhere: Designed for existing room layouts where installation of a new halo OTS to existing Unistrut, lighting, sprinkler locations.  Primary use is where ceiling changes become cost prohibitive to the acquisition cost of a new OTS.  Ask your sales professional for specifics about to make the halo Everywhere fit your existing room.
  • halo 2500 / 2517: Designed for extra-high patient volume in Orthopedics or similar.  Demanding applications that require the most robust motion components and service-life.   Ask your sales professional for specifics about to make these halo models fit your application.
  • halo Trauma: Designed for trauma or surgery suites where obtrusive traditional OTS systems are obtrusive to physicians.  Can be moved out of the way from any location (pushed if necessary to facilitate immediate removal from trauma physician work zone).  Other trauma specific features are standard.  Ask your sales professional for specifics about how to make the halo Trauma work in your application.
  • halo Outboard: Designed for existing room layouts where installation of a new halo OTS to existing Unistrut, lighting & sprinkler locations.  Primary use is where ceiling changes become cost prohibitive to the acquisition cost of a new OTS.  Primary fitment is existing rooms with outboard Unistrut designed and installed as much as 40 years ago.  Ask your sales professional for specifics about to make the halo Outboard fit your existing outboard longitudinal rail system without costly ceiling changes.
  • halo Front/Rear: Designed for existing & new room layouts where installation of a the wall Bucky stand needs to be located at a front wall or a rear wall rather than the traditional left or right wall.  Ask your sales professional for specifics about to make the halo Front/Rear fit your existing room.

Unistrut designed and installed as much as 40 years ago.  Ask your sales professional for specifics about to make the halo Spread fit your existing longitudinal Unistrut system without costly ceiling changes.
